Context

Real-estate asset management SaaS for property developers and asset managers.

What I worked on

Chief technology officer, leading the technical development of this system.

Approach

The system combines market data and investment calculations on one platform, covering investment research, valuation, financial modelling and the recalculation of post-investment returns.

Outcome

The system had an existing version, which I led the rebuild of. The new version was launched and remains in operation.

My responsibilities

  • Architecture design: Build a common foundation for market data and the calculation engine, with a shared calculation framework across property types and market data available directly to the calculations.
  • Team management: Assemble and manage the development team, assigning responsibilities and setting the release schedule.
  • Development and delivery: Lead the full process from research, proposals, development and testing to launch, followed by ongoing iteration and operations.
