An industry ERP for building contractors in Singapore, covering tender estimates, construction management and financial accounting throughout the construction project lifecycle.
What I worked on
Product lead, building the system from scratch.
Approach
The system is centred on project management and organised around the project lifecycle.
Outcome
The main core modules were completed, and the code and documentation were handed over to the company. I subsequently left following a change in the company’s strategic direction. The system did not proceed to implementation and was not formally launched.
My responsibilities
- Business research: Work with business departments to understand the actual workflows of a main building contractor.
- Product design: Design system functionality around the project lifecycle.
- Technology selection: Lead technology stack and architecture decisions.
- Requirements delivery: Work directly with internal business departments and follow through on implementation.
